And another thing, if the NV40 is priced $400 or $500 in the US does that mean it will cost £400 or £500 in the UK also or will it change?

People in the UK tend to get screwed on the price of hardware. US $500 usually means £500 when it comes to the latest and greatest. Unless that's changed in the last year or so.

And the $270 you got for your 5900 seems about right in line with what similar cards are selling for on eBay.

Look at about £500 incl. VAT or maybe a bit more. I saw in a french review RRP is €550 :(

Man, I really want to see how much the 9800/FX5900 cards drop to once the newest generation is released. I've been looking forward to getting a deal, as a major AA/Aniso user I'm looking to get a cheap upgrade on my TI4200.

The RRP I saw quoted over at B3D for the 6800Ultra was £399, which is (to the pound) what I was expecting.

$500 * (£1 / $1.80) + 17.5% VAT + 22% stupid consumer tax = £400.
