Computer Tweaks

Ok, so I had to reformat my computer.. Grr..

Anyways, I had done some tweaks to help performance in all games and such but I can't find the website. Anyone able to list off a few? =)

Set your virtual memory to be a static size range, not windows controlled, the amoutn varies on how much ram you have. Don't install anything unless you need it..

Got 512megs of ram... How high should I set the virtual memory?

On the other hand I should be getting another stick soon, haven't decided if I'm going to go with another 512 or get rid of the current one and get a brand name 1gig.

always pair up your ram.. two 512 sticks would be wise..

with your 512 i'd set its start size at 512 and its max at something like 1024, depending what apps you use..
