That's a good point in my book as a quality CRT is still the best for gaming imo. It was a pain when Gainward did twin dvi's on Ti4600 GS and I can't see any new reason why I would want two dvi's on what is essentially a top end gaming card. Tried a few TFT's and they are still not good enough in the important areas, for gaming at least. I'd have the Asus over other cards mainly if it has smart doc GPU & Ram temp monitoring..

Whats the point of putting light there? 99% of users put their pc under the desk and wont be able to see inside.

But you can still use CRTs with DVI ports. My ATI AIW just ships with DVI but it includes the adapter for regular CRTs.

Looks sweet and totally matches my Lian Li aluminum case with all my blue LED fans!

Yes I know, but it's a pain in the ass having that extra sticking out the back of the PC, maybe they do conversion cables now.. they didn't back when Ti4600 was about..

Apparently it is a single slot solution. I think I can live with only the one DVI.

Well the 6800 Non-Ultra's are NOT saposta have dual dvi, but this dose look like an ultra, werid.

I think Asus has realized that not everyone out there uses 2 dvi ports. So they loose one for a vga. Maybe they think it will appeal to more people that way. Between that and the single slot cooling solution.... I'm definately getting one. Unless of course the R420 shows it up. I guess I'll wait and see.

The fan plug plugs into there so when the graphics card gets powered so does the fan. Look at the pics where they have both plugs plugged in when its not turned out. That card would look sweet in my case since everything in it has blue led's on it :D

I think this is the basic card, they may have a Deluxe model with TV encoding tuner and dual DVI ports later on.

Well, blue or not blue that's an ugly mfing beach! I don't like the new cooler. (aaa) I'll wait for MSI's version first, then we'll see..

Thats one thing I like about my BFG now. It has one fan on each of my fans on the card. It looks sweet.

Seriously, I was weighing heavily on Leadtek but the Leadtek 6800ultra design looks RUSTY AND OLD. Not contemporary. Come on, we have open window cases. Need something flashy like Asus.

Asus goes all the way. Believe me or not, with that design, Asus will boot up their sales.

Can't find any images yet but looks like MSI will be making a twin fan cooler possibly similar to the 5900u /5950U. they call is "Copper Ultra" so I wonder if it will be real copper this time rather than copper plated alu?

www.digit-life.com are a good place to check regularly for new card images, from there the inno3d card image looks reference with different sticker.

XFX have a tacky banner add on their site but no card images.

only had a quick look but couldn't see any mention on Aopen or Gainward's site's
