Does anyone have an idea as to when Nvidia will be coming out with an update to the Quad display card? It has been awhile and meanwhile many new boards have come out based on Ati 9000 (Appian Phoenix, Colorgrahic Xentera). It would be nice to see a quad board capable of doing 1600x1200 DVI to each port.

i mistakenly purchased a quadro because i was mislead by the online spec. i thought it would
drive four 1600x1200 DVI ports. can you confirm that is not the case?

Well, I see this: http://www.pny.com/products/quadro/nvs/400Nvs.asp.
I'm sure Nvidia must be working on an update

With their new chips being so "power"ful, I doubt they can fit 2 of those onto a PCI card. They are currently pushing people to use multiple Quadro FX 600 PCI cards.

Well I don't even need the 6800, a 5700 class (or even 5600) would be fine. PCI Express would be a plus, also.

ah, the PNY page was interesting. there is an "LFH-to-dual-DVI" cable that
you can buy and the page also suggests it *will* drive four 1280x1024
LCD's that way. not what i originally wanted but not bad either
for the price.
