How to install my nvdia driver...

I have Linux 7.2 installed, but i my Xwindows is not working how do i install my driver for GeForce 4 MX 420.I downloaded the driver from NVdia wesite but don't know how to install it.
Can anybody help me...

Please see the README, available from the driver download page, for detailed installation instructions. If you get stuck after following those, please post your problem w/ error messages (if appropriate), and we'll help get you up and running.

Do you mean RedHat Linux 7.2, or Mandrake Linux 7.2? These both exist, and are sufficiently different (Mandrake 7.2 is older) to be an issue with the drivers. It only matters if you can't get it running with the README, but if you do have problems, it will be good to know which of these distributions you mean. ;)
