Man if I spent 3 hours staring at the picture. I'd say the right looks a bit better, But they bloody look almost identical to me.

my eyes cant tell the difference in iq between screens

it has to be moving, so i can see the way jaggies 'slide'

but i hardly see any on my 9800xt, so i guess thats a good thing

really, i'd rather have 10 more frames per second than one less jaggie...

but this is my subjective opinion ^_^

Left maybe realy hard to tell who is better :retard: how about 6x from ati as baseline :D

Just noticed one biger difference look at faces of pilots right pic got white dots , left one got grey ones ! also small dots on airplane gun , left should be better less artifacts no ?

I really can't say.

Edit: yeah the only thing I can see is on the pilot on the left, his right eye area looks slightly better on the left picture.

They both look identical in most places, but one spot that sticks out is the bottom of the brown wing, which is better on the left. To be fair though, the only reason it stuck out is because the right pic has the same problem the bottom pic in the other thread had, the AA pixels in that spot are too light.

right. The right looks gamma corrected.

They look the same, but what makes difference is gamma correction, and that's not important...

The left looks better to me... look at the rounded edges, much more "round"

The picture on the right adds more pixes to the window on the left of the pilot, it's like it's been antialiased, so the right one.

Any chance of getting full size screenshots of the 100% shots mike ?

They're so small...

Sure thing. Each screenshot is around 570K in size.

That's crazy, the 6800 Ultra AA shot looks alot better than the Radeon 9800 shot when you set them both in their own windows and put them on the exact same position (just bring scroller down) and flip between the two IE windows... The 6800 Ultra shot clearly shows the front of the plane (which is a circle) to be more circular and less jagged.

What is going on here?

mmm.. if you look at the full size screenshots the center of the airplane.. the big circle you will notice more smoother in the Geforce6800 shot if you swap pictures.. but also at at the top of the right wing.. the R3xx shot is less smooth the lines. same with the call of duty shots.

it seems that the left picture.. looks to be the geforce..if that is correct.. i will like to see R3xx 6xaa vs Nvidia 4xaa.. to see the diferences.

Whats up with the smoke lighting. The 6800 and the 5950 are lighter then the 9800. The 5950 is blured just look at the yellow areas. The good thing is the 6800 is not blured like the 5950.

The 6800 shot is smoother, but seemingly more blurred out (in comparison to the 9800 Pro). The 9800 Pro shot looks a bit more vivid (you can better make out pilots face), but the edges arent as smooth. Is the 6800 using it's 8x AA sampling mode?

Didn't you say left before it was revealed which card each was from? :angel2:
