NV 50 rumors???

O.k. were can one go to find some nice oven fresh rumors about the NV50, I know its a year away but what are the specs

A bloke I met down the pub says his mate knows someone who bought a car off a guy whos brother works as a cleaner at NVIDIA UK. Rumour has it... <whispers> it'll be faster than NV40 </whispers>. You didn't hear that from me, OK?

The originally planned PS4 NV50 will now be the NV60 and ir will be released end of 2005 or beginning 2006.

The new NV50 will be an SM3 Chip -because Microsoft is late with DX10/Longhorn (Microsoft confirmed somewhere that they come together)- and this chip will be based on the NV4x.

Why should they release an SM4 Chip in 2005 when DX10 will not be born before beginning 2006 and who knows if the date will not change again...perhaps middle or end of 2006.

Of course...ATI has no choice...

If I understood Microsoft's statement correct, then DX10 will only be released for Longhorn OS, and if that is true, then this will not be a motivation for game developper to support it quickly...

Dood where did you get this source? It's totally wrong. Realizing the failure of the nv30's big fan to attract modders who want something pretty to look at through their case windows, nv50 is going to be using TUBES!

NV45? I hope its a 110nm spin of the nv40 with higher clocks and paired with faster memory modules for more memory bandwidth! :D maybe a few architectural changes....i dunno but there is only so much u can ramp up in 130nm :p

we all know NV "optimized" drivers for the nv3x line but the nv40 has barely launched? and u are insuniating already? NV40 will do fine thank you... ;)

Dont you noobies know anything? ITs based on voodoo 2 architechture, and is basically 64 voodoo 2 cores linked together in an advanced type of sli mode all under one chip, with a seperate chip processing dx9 and dx 10 features in sync.

No news on the memory, yet it is supposed to have some. That is all for now.
