Any idea when we will see PCI-E GF6800 & nForce3 w/ PCI-E be coming. I have been thinking of getting both a 6800 & a A64 system but thoiught i would be better off if i waited for PCI-E rather then AGP.

I want to know also...

If it's not out in volume till around september, then i may buy an nforce3 250 and A64 3200+ soon and upgrade late this year or early next with another video card. I hope i can 'put up' with my 9800pro until then ;)

Basically that's what i'm hearing but.. we wont see PCI-E, especially for A64 until september. For me this means i wont be able to buy a mobo i want with it until oct/nov... i can't wait that long. So it's looking likely that my new plan will go ahead. Besides.. the longer i wait the better i will get :) A64 4000+ with NV45/R450 :D mmmm

you guys should wait for mobo's with at least 4 or more 1x pci-ex slots ...its poitnless getting the mobos with just one 1x slot. a top end graphics card (it will remain nameless) will take both the 16x and the only availible 1x slot also ...... just a thought

Not all PCI-E boards will be the same, i am sure some will have up to 3+ PCI-E 1x slots.

I am sure that PCI-E 16x has space from the PCI-E 1x slots or it was with the early MSI sample boards.
