Me and my posts...

A few months ago when I first came to NVNEWS forums(I've been visiting the site for about a year and a half), I started pretty much by commenting on the war on terror and the palestinian/israeli conflict. My first posts now that I look back on them seem very childish, yet, when I look at my recent posts, I don't see much of a difference. I am still arguiing over the same things, but the only difference now is that I beleive that I am not commenting anymore, I am becoming more and more offensive with every post. It is shameful when I look back on what I have typed and what I have said(racist things and stupidity), and I want to apologize. I wanna apologize to anyone who has had to put up with this, and I want to apologize for holding grudges. Heck, these are forums, we are here to talk about computer hardware and maybe some other things, but I don't talk, I offend(Not the smelly way). I want to fix this and start anew, I don't want to continue on this trend, otherwise I will end up hated and banned. So all I really want to say is that I am sorry.

YEAH! I'm sorry too.....uh...for what? :p Actually that's a pretty good example to learn from. I don't think an appology is neccesary, but we should just make sure not to go overboard with anything we post. This is a clean, and well respected (barring the folks at Rage3D :D ) site and I'm glad I'm a part of it. Also glad that the mods are doing their jobs and handling anything that cross the rules (which are in plain view for everyone to see).

I'm going to say something that'll probably strike a chord or two with AshG and K.I.L.E.R. - a year ago, these forums were more happy-go-lucky and "political/religious" based threads would die within its first page. This was basically a safe haven of sorts.

Since then, alot has changed and many things that has happened over the course of that year have hit us perhaps a little too close to home. Threads about politics and religion have exploded on here ever since. Goodbye save haven...some might muse.

The safe haven is still here.

The people, however, are on edge.

Because our world is on edge.

Whenever major parts of the world are at war, social discourse becomes a battleground. That will always be true. We can't help it - we have to debate it. We have to...because that's one of the ways we as a people get through it. It's best to just let the bickering and the bitching run its course because it's only a matter of time when the bitchers and bickerers run out of gas and releave all that steam - just like a typical episode of "All In The Family". :)

People get tired of debating eventually, including me, and...
