I've just bought a game that requires me to have a DX9 driver. I searched the net for a suitable site, no luck. I have, sadly, an MX420. Can anyone tell me where to get the driver from. Ta Kheto. :lame:

If it is a game that requires DX9.0, it will prompt for installation.

Definetly GF2 class is to old not even basic shaders available *sight*

I think even Halflife2 should be able to play on a Gf2, I think it will be ugly. but it should still play any game out right now.

The card will still work. Most games need the API of DX9 as its hardware that calls for a specific routine and if the hardware cant call it, then its simply dead code for a older card like that. Besides dx9 has backwards compatibility with the older d3d api's. The game & card will simply render dx6 & 7 algorithms.

Yeah really... I mean most games that require DX9, has DX9 on the installation CD and will prompt for installation if it doesnt detect the api, so I wondering what gives myself! lol

If a person hasn't seen better than the gf2, it won't matter to them. But even so, I have seen a lot of games that rock with ugly graphics.

Developers have had it for sometime now, so this usually means its right around the corner. The roadmap showed it for summer 04, which can mean anything at this point.

It screams typo to me. A 9800xt for $200? Sounds to good to be true, and you know that old adage...
