Hi all.
I am using redhat 7.3 (sorry, can't update for now) and using the Quadro 4. The driver installed is the newest for the best of my knowledge (named 'nvidia' and not 'nv'). The software I am writing is using overlay. Until now I only had graphics cards with index-color overlay support on HP-UX machines, and either Matrox G450 or Intel onboard without overlay support on linux (PC) systems.
For some reason, when I am trying to utilize the overlay support on the quadro 4, I get no transparency (either in color index or true-color overlay modes). Instead, the background has a shade of blue, overriding everything in the underlay.
It seems that I configured things correctly, however I have no demo or other kind of software that I can use to check it (both configuration and overlay support).
I don't have more details with me now (except that it is a Xeon based system). If needed, I'll bring some later.
Please help me solve this one.
Thank you in advance,
Itai.
