yeah, nothing major, it means "we don't guarantee this exact product", not "we reserve the right to screw you over with a lesser version".

if they did change important specifications (to lesser values) then you would be entitled to a refund (not sure about whether they could still charge a restocking fee).

Argh, end of May. Hopefully Albatron comes through with their early May release date (although with no one else saying that it makes me wonder if they even have a shot at that).

eVGA is showing what looks to be a single-slot design (the earlier PR pic). I wonder if the pic hasn't been updated or what.

Anyway, thanks for the link.

I would wait. We have to see how the r420 performs plus different manufacturers might have higher clocked 6800ultra's coming out.

I agree. If nvidia does clock them at 400 there partners might
up it to 450. ;)

slamming OTHER peoples buying decisions is whats actually the fanboy play, doing it a multiple of times puts you right into the lame catagory...

Some of us here are truly enthusiasts and while reading previews are reviews are fun, we'll base our choice of which card to use on our own experiences with both... not on someone elses opinion.

Yes this comment is directly aimed at dave, reever, and casper... it only takes a minute to check your historys and see where your "dood yourz da llama ifz youz dontz wait furs the 420z" comes from.

its getting old allready.
