So I made one of those late night Wal-Mart runs tonight. On a whim, I decide to pick up an issue of PC Gamer which turns out to be their special 10 year anniversary issue. They included the entire first issue on the CD (well there's a password that you use to access the issue online...not sure why they didn't make it all a PDF...anyway). It's great, the ads in particular. The cover of the first issue is below. It seems like yesterday when I read that issue. There are reviews of Bioforge, Alone in the Dark 2, Ultima VIII: Pagan and The Elder Scrolls: Arena (yes you youngins, this is the grand daddy of Morrowind...all on floppies). Anyway, it's worth picking up for the first issue if you don't have a hard copy.

Such good memories. :) If anyone's interested in checking out The Elder Scrolls: Arena, it's now available for download from here (http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/downloads_games.htm).

i loved the hype before teh saturn and playstation were released circa 1994. That was a great time full of strange crap games, but the very height of my interest, it laid the foundations for the gaming industry we have now.
