toms could be in trouble over this, or maybe say it was an accident cause it was leaked so briefly only one guy managed to grab 2 screens before it went down again

wOOt ! .. the 6800U is besting the ATI henchmen in breed demo i see ! :kill:

& lossing to them in FarCry .. but the new Forceware seems to be doing a good job in the shader performance !

Seeing as how Breed is a TWIMTBP game, how is that surprising? And the differences are minimal at best...nothing to get too excited about, IMHO...

Hate to disagree, but I think CONSUMERS win this round as both companies are releasing very capable and full-featured products...

I agree too, this is somewhat close. However if the X800 PRO is $299 then that is the card for me!

phew... the other forums are getting way too crowded. Don't even feel like reading them anymore. It's amazing how much ppl can derive and extrapolate from a few tidbits of info. Wait till they see the full picture. heh. It's too bad there are those out there that will never reach that point.

I think if you look in the nV cards section under the nV40 v. x800 thread, there has already been a site leaking the x800 Pro price of $399, sorry to disappoint ya :/

They will drop or hope will drop when the XT comes out. $400 is way to expensive for a mainstream card.
