I liked that demo a lot. I'm just mad that the real time demo will only run on X800 cards, but I'll live. Well, it looks like I'll be buying an X800XT in the near future.

The Demos are to different types, nvidia's techdemo of Nula shows extreem detail while able to move around her at any angle in real time. ATI's while impressive is more of a saturday morning CG series, not sure if they will to a controlable version.

i forgot to mention that the demo.. is using "CUtscenes" pre-rendered..shots.. in much higher quality that the "playable" demo. like the close shot of the lips of the girl.

ATI promotion of the demo use shots of Rubi done entirely in the CPU by Proffesional software. Nvidia still have much higher quality than Rubi.. but it it done is an empty scenario ,while Rubi interact and Fights.. Nalu is dAwn with Softshadows and the most realistic long hair in real time ever done with Dynamic branching. So NVidia is showing how high the quality of graphics can go in real time ,while ATI focus is quality graphics in a gaming enviroment. but the demo is very nice.. :)

Actually, there are two versions of video demo available. I have no idea which one is linked above, but if you actually go to ATI's site and download the videos from the demo page (either the Quicktime or the MPEG) then that video is of the real-time demo and is not pre-rendered.

RhinoFX, on their company webpage, has a video of the original pre-rendered sequence that was used to design the demo.

In any case, if you get the video from the official ATI site you are actually seeing the real-time demo, not the pre-rendered version.
