6800GT, 69800, 6800U, 6800EU?

I like the 6800EU performance but at what cost $$$?

here is a x800pro for 340$ I hope the 6800U match that;

The X800 Pro would be comparable to the 6800GT, not the Ultra.

Perfoprmance or price because the pro held its own against the Ultra, did not win but is in teh same ball park in performance.

The X800PRO and 6800 GT should cost about the same. Both are good overclockers...

What?
You "bumped" your thread i.e. made a redundant post or a post for the sole purpose of "bumping" your thread back up in the pecking order. That isn't good netiquette is all.

The X800PRO retails for $399, and the 6800GT is $399. The 6800GT is basically a 6800U with a lower clock speed, and is still a 16x1 card. The x800PRO, on the other hand, is only 12x1 unlike the 16x1 x800XT.

yet it will still beat the nvidia offering...again...

isn't the GT also a 1 slot cooler? one molex?

I think the X800PRO will be the best price/performance card of them all, especially if you aren't going to have the very latest CPU.

Yes on all accounts, but i think the GT 'maybe' the better card.

the X800PRO puts up a decent fight against the 6800ULTRA, so imo the GT will be no competition (in windows). X800PRO is also released much sooner.

have there actually been any benchmarks yet for the GT?

what would really interest me is 6800GT vs. X800PRO in linux.

GT Benchmarks (http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/geforce_6800_ultra_extreme/page6.asp)

It is actually quite good competition against the Pro.
