The goods from the NV30 contest were sitting on my doorstep today ... T-shirt, hat, a little sticky brain (throw it at the wall -- it sticks!) ... and the 5800U. I have to run out again, so I hope to pop it in the system tonight and check things out ... I'll report back! :D

System specs in the sig below. Install was a breeze ... ran some quick and dirty benchies (I know, I know, but they're relaxing). That sucker is LOUD when the fan kicks in for 3D mode, though! I'm going to have to crank the speakers up a bit.

Though I must admit 88F is a bit warm for a cap. ;) I thought about sticking the sticky brain thing to my head so it looks like my brains are seeping out. Probably get me fired, tho.

That's a nice upgrade from your old card. Those benches seem pretty much on target for that card so no need to worry there. Glad to see you're enjoying it, and I'm also happy that one of the forum vets received it. Enjoy!

Now I'm considering sticking the hemispheres in my ears to drown out the sound of that massive cooler...

You've been around here a long time - well before the hack IIRC. That makes you a veteran moreso than your post count. ;)
