Thanks to Templar pointing out the Norwegian site for Komplett ( head site ).

Seems to be using 2.8ns memory .. why did they not use 2.2 ??? Seems very low bandwidth. If it is Hynix though xbitlabs reports a lot of 2.8ns Hynix is relabelled 2.5 or 2.2 though, so you might be able to pick up a bargain.

Said to work at 325/700 which justifies 2.8ns memory.

It's 12 pipes which is 33% down on 16 pipes but it is 50% down on bandwidth compared to 1100Mhz ultra .. and that looks like it would prefer 1200/1400.

Better with Hynix 2.2ns me thinks, surely that cannot be in short supply ...

Its the lowest model of the 6800 line, they want to make it cheap. And if you consider that going from 700 to 850 on the 5900 has almost no effect, maybe its not so bandwidth limited after all. 3.9 Gigapixels is not that higher than 3.2.
