MSI GeForce4 Ti 4200 128MB - overclocking?

I do not know a whole lot about overclocking but was wondering what the default core/mem speeds were for this card. Also without adding any extra cooling( just with it's own fan), what is the safest/stable setting you can overclock to without causing any damage to the card. Also does the MSI have it's own o/c utility or should you use coolbits.

here is my situation: I have an athlon 1200, 512mb pc133 ram.
I really only play sports games like madden, fifa and racing games like f1 2002, nascar 2002
I want to get a new gf4 card and am leaning towards the MSI as it is the cheapest card around here. Should I get the 128mb version and will it make a big difference in game performance on my system or should I just go with the 64mb version...

ps... would the msi card be fine for me or can someone recommend a better gf4 ti4200 64/128 card for my situation

its a great card you have, stick with it. default clock is 250/513 i believe for the gf4ti4200. definately want to overclock it, but i can't give you a safe/stable setting, your just gonna have to find that out yourself. usually best way is to run a game at 1600x1200 with aa really work the card. if you notice anomalties or it crashes, than lower the clock. if you have good air flow and cooling, cores could easily hit 300. your memory should hit 550 at the minimum. from there i say raise it up by 10, and when its unstable or shows anomalites lower by 5, and than raise/lower by 1.

The default on most 128MB Ti4200 card is 250/444. The MSI card's default is no exception. I have the card currently running in 260/500. I'm using Rivatuner RC12 to overclock. I recommend that program but there are several other that do the job as well.
