As per MaxPower's suggestion, I decided to start a thread here to see what kind of browser people prefer.
Post your experiances, pros and cons, etc.
My personal favorite is FireFox. Built in search funcitons, adblocker, popupblocker, and a whole lot more.

Well, while I'm mighty impressed with ALL the positive reviews of Firefox (and let's face it, you folks probably wiped more PC knowledge out of your EARS this morning than I have), I didn't like the spyware toolbars intalled on THREE occasions when "test installed." I don't get Spyware; I just don't. I've been using IE up until 8 days ago. Got 11 instances of it with Firefox and the UNINSTALL is rather a nightmare if you want to be "complete" about it. START>RUN "%appdata" and delete Mozilla and Phoenix, then regedit for all the OTHER gobs of Mozilla files NOT uninstalled with "Add/Remove," etc.
I did think it was very slick, and I liked the file download graphics and the fact that it remembered which folder to save images to. The tabbed interface was nice too, although loading some pages took a second or 2 longer.
I haven't looked at what else is out there but I REALLY wish I could have found another "culprit" for the spyware. Actually the most annoying thing about it is, it has stolen the PhotoShop Icons from jpeg/bmp files and I can't "restore them" either with "Open with . . . use this from now on" or TweakUI. I tried reinstalling PhotoShop yesterday to no avail; I might do it again now that I've made some changes. See my post below this one seeking help in restoring the "icons."
At least I found TweakUI; fixed a whole bunch of little "irritants" with that 1!!

I'm using the full-out Mozilla as it seems to manage some of my plugins a bit better. Plus the skin support is slightly less buggy. I'm using 1.7b and while there are a few sites that still have trouble rendering in Moz, the number is getting fewer with each official release.
I keep IE handy in the form of Avant Browser, and for ****s and giggles I have Opera installed. As a matter of fact, they just released what appears to be the final 7.50 build. The betas of this Opera have been pretty impressive thus far, and I'm very curious to see what's improved in this alleged final release.

Wow, no one is posting anymore...
I update to the latest nightlies of Firefox a few times a week just for grins. It can be a bit of a memory hog sometimes, but it beats just about anything else out there. (And I've never seen a lick of spyware with it, either.) I've been using Crazy Browser for those rare IE sessions, but some popups have started to get through ... might have to go back to Avant.
Cheers,

:afraid:
What?!?
Di Immortalis!
Which version of UT?
My UT dir is only 600 megs.
Yes, I don't buy games often, so I don't havey anything made in 2004. Newest game is Call of Duty, which I got instead of Halo because of my crap system.
My XP is roughly 400 megs, and I partioned the drive to C: and E: with my 8 gig in D:.
All large games go to E:, whilst downloads and such go to D: and C:.
;)
My question is how do you guys survive with so much space?

I predominantly use IE, but occasionally I hit up Mozilla, Firefox, and Opera for a change of pace.
EDIT: Oh, and I use Mozilla over Firefox usually since it supports my favorite plugin, Multizilla. It's a great tabbed browsing addon.
Hey stncttr...how is Multizilla different than Firefox's tabbed browsing?

It looks like it's a lot more feature-rich than the standard FireFox tabs. Looks like it might be a worthwhile addition for me.

Tabbrowser Extensions (http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro/xul/_tabextensions.html.en) is similar to Multizilla as far as features, but for Firefox.

Not one browser based problem since switching to firebird (now firefox).
yap. and no spyware (no matter what kind od sites i visit ;) )
Firefox.. though i'm not 100% happy with it i still find it much better than IE.
It just loads pages with many pictures MUCH slower. That and some java stuff doesn't seem to work. Rollover buttons i've created in DW don't work at all, and sites like this (http://www.below-0.net/belowzero.asp) with the expandable NAV bar show up with all visible.
Other than that it is much better than IE. Ability to view videos while downloading them without streaming. More features, more security, and no popups at all! Also no annoying auto-focusing of the typing cursor thing (forget the name ;p).. that would annoy me as google was my home page. Stupid thing was slower too so i went to type in a url only to find i was soon typing in the search field .. i hated that!

Firefox !!!
Currently mozilla. Started using it when IE gone crazy with its accumulating bugs and didnt work right. Now after fresh install I use then both.
There are still features I find missing in one that are built into the other. Tabbed browsing is a must now for me :D

Ain't it great? :D
There's not a browser I use that doesn't have it: Avant Browser (IE), Mozilla and Opera. Opera appears to have finally gotten most everything right. While I don't use it very often, there are some times when it has come in handy. :)
