PLEASE READ THE DETAILS

As above, asking $300. OR....if you have a GeForce 5900 Ultra with 256mb of ram or a GeForce 5950 Ultra, I'll do a one-to-one trade for that.

This card is from Asus and comes with the full retail bundle. INCLUDING the Half-Life 2 voucher. It has not been scratched off or used in any way, you get a full copy of Half Life 2 with this card (well, when it comes out  )

This card also comes with the full versions of 'Gun Metal' and 'Battle Engine Aquila'. It also includes the full version of Power Director Pro, Cool3d, Asus DVD player, etc. Along with an assorted half dozen game demos. It's the full retail package here, folks!

Also, this is a VIVO card - Video-In/Video-Out. You can plug an RCA output (say, from a VCR) into this card and watch TV on it, movies, etc. Note that if you install the Asus Catalyst drivers rather than the stock ATI ones, you can get access to Asus's "Game Face" program. This basically allows face-to-face chatting online....BUT, it also can put a TV window in any DX or OpenGL game. So you can, you know, watch TV or something while waiting for somebody to try and cap the flag you are guarding. The VIVO adapter is included (full retail packaging, and all).

As to the card itself....this IS a 256mb, r360 (not the Radeon 9800's r350 core) card.

HOWEVER...it was sold as a 9800 Pro. As it was a 9800XT core (not 9800 Pro core), and used 9800XT ram (2.5ns - not 9800 Pro ram)....I flashed a 9800XT BIOS on it. And it's now completely identical in every way to a 9800XT!

Note that, as it WAS sold as a 9800 Pro (even though it had the XT core) odds are good it failed some speed binning test at the factory. Although it works fine at the clocks in the XT BIOS I flashed, I wouldn't count on this being a great overclocker without 3rd party cooling (not like any XTs *are*, I'm just saying...)

If you DO have third party cooling? Well, I put this in my water cooling loop (Swiftech MCW50 waterblock) and got:

3dMark03 score of 7244 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2512590) at clocks of 470 core and 400 mem (800 DDR).

I'm hoping to fund an upgrade with the sale of this card, so I'm really not willing to lower the price much. It's a good performer, and if I can't sell it at this price, I'll just be keeping it for a while. As noted above, I will do a one-to-one trade for a GeForceFX 5900 Ultra with 256mb or a GeForceFX 5950 Ultra.
