I have a Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard which includes a SLEEP button. I like to use this feature when I know I'll be away from my PC for a few hours. Now I have a Gigabyte FX5900XT, and I noticed that when I press SLEEP the blue LED on the video card fan goes off too. Does this mean the card is receiving far less or no power while in sleep mode? Is this safe? Is it ok for the card to go back and forth from low power to regular mode? Will I burn the card out using this feature?

Thanks

Sleep model requires low power. So i think the going off of blue LED is designed for this.
But it is my estimate.I'm a student ,so I haven't many money to buy a FX5900XT . T_T.
haha^_^

I have to assume it's normal behavior, but I'd still like to know if anybody knows for sure. Does enabling SLEEP mode somehow lower the AGP voltage? Is it ok for my FX5900XT to go to low power mode everytime the PC sleeps ?
