yea,even if you cant see the difference, it makes all benchmarks between the x800xt and 6800 false, since it wasnt under fair conditions. And i cant tell the difference between 8x high performance, and 8x high quality by looking at it, but i wouldnt bench a card runnin 8x high performance against a card runnin 8x high quality.

There were a number of sites taht used the newest beta drivers from NV that did not allow the disabling of the NV40's brilinear so those were pretty much the same.

but nvidia still had bettr iq, right
Nvidia responded to the pressure by adding an option to enable trilinear (hopefully it will be working in the released driver) so hopefully ATI will do the same. After all the fuss this has caused, I'd think they'd be working on that already. :)
