No, and it runs cooler even when overclocked.

The 104 watt figure is the max. spec for socket 939. The only 939pin A64 likely to use anywhere near this much power is the very last 939pin A64.. remember, there are likely to be dual core processors 939pin A64 processors. AMD are just trying to keep older motherboards compatible. 754pin A64's don't use 89watt either, it's the same thing (though they are closer as S754 wont stay as a top-end socket for much longer, the 3700+ may come close to this spec).

As for the real things to see in the review. There weren't any. All is basically as i expected it to be.

Not soon enough - I was really trying to hold out on a new system but I got tired of waiting. If I planned on waiting for all the cool "new stuff" I would probably never get another PC that way.

Dont you think its odd that AMD lose out in Q3 every time again. I'll tell you why, review sites are still using Q3 with the broken AMD support, meaning SSE on P4, and no enhanced instructions on AMD. I find this really annoying as this is obviously the reason when AMD leads every other gaming benchmark.

Sort it out review sites!

Hopefully with the release of Doom3, Q3 will no longer be used as a benchmark in most reviews.

I also have been a bit annoyed at the lack of support for this patch by review sites.. it's still not too late.
