View Full Version : The Heavy Metal Jesus has Left the Building

When things get nauseating, I leave.
When the backend is corrupt, I leave.
That's what I'm doing now. I'm leaving the nVnews community. There is little left for me here. Unlike Corporal Dan, I would love to point fingers and blame, but I have things to do today. But some of the reasons I'm leaving are as follows:
The news is extremely skimpy on the front page. Very little of what appears is what I'm into.
The forums have slowly dwindled into a choice few people arguing the same points over and over.
Certain individuals get special treatment over others. This is unacceptable.
The details are unimportant, but the end result is that I'm gone. No shoutouts. No "thank yous". No "bless you all" speeches.

LOL, I mean it's an on-line forum c'mon. *shrug* I hate to say it but if people can't deal and cope with an on-line forum then they have other issues they need to take care of first IMO but that's just me.

Ditto

Er......nV News :: graphics cards.........We post news about graphics cards......
So you come to nV News looking for information regarding things other than graphics hardware???
If so...that's like being upset when you don't find any stock-information while browsing through your favorite pron website....It doesn't make any sense...
If you are complaining about the amount of card reviews which are posted, that is beyond our control. I can't make websites write reviews...though when they are done, they are typically linked the same day.( You can likely count the number of non-linked NVIDIA-based card reviews on one hand )
Regardless....if you aren't happy with our content....it makes sense to move on...
Have a good one...

:( :( :(
Too bad, Exit...... Although I'm not here as often as before, I'm still hanging around often.
I really appreciate you, ExitWould, and sure will miss you.
BTW, I also miss eesa (never registered in the new forums I think), @thlon and Beefster, to name a few.
It's not nice to face the end of a long trip, isnt' it?

I don't know what happenned with Eesa and Beefster. I miss them both. I miss @thy too, but he's serving mandatory military service for his country. Every time I turn on the TV and see another suicide bombing or soldier death, I pray he's not the one that's passed on.

Welcome to the internet. Where the drama queens run wild, and when one leaves, another one shows up to replace them.
The world still turns... Frequently.

I thought the heavy metal Jesus left the building a long time ago. I believe his name was...Bon Scott? Or was it Cliff Burton? ;)
Definately one of those two.
Sure as hell wasn't Sid Vicious!! That's a given.
Anyone that would even remotely mention him in the same sentance as "heavy metal Jesus" deserves a .50 calibre shell straight to their gourd! :p

Or, rather, constantly. Interminably, even! At 1,000 miles per hour (at the equator)! :)

This mass exodus has to stop!
We need to build a huge concrete wall around the nVnews community! Like the commies did in Berlin! That ought to keep people in. :)
And when it all fails, we can smash the wall and sell the rubble for lots of dollars...
