Soldiers: Heroes of World War II Demo

Codemasters has released a playable demo of Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, offering an opportunity to try out this 3D action role-playing strategy hybrid that is nearing completion at Best Way. This demo contains one mission in which your goal is "to protect your injured commanding officer in the farmhouse from waves of German military. Use any weapon at your disposal to complete your mission."

This demo has pretty good graphics. I found the difficulty a bit too much, but only played twice, both times ended up sat in my tank being pwned by the Germans. There seems to be some stuff you can 'use' with your men in the game, the howitzer worked well but there's just too many enemies to take out with limited ammo. I probably missed the ammo dump :P

Yea, pretty cool game. Check out the text file in the zip with install, it has a list of commands and "how-to" on re-arming/re-fueling, using grenades, mines, etc. Once you get the hang of it, its much more fun.
