What's the story? Where are the cards? Is Nvidia doing another NV30 or what? is the NV40 a hoax or what? :screwy:

Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. I thought this weekend was the deadline. I'm tired of this B.S.

I'm just as impatient as most ppl are right now, but it is coming soon. Like rumors that have been stating most likely the product will drop after computex for most manufactures. Which means something may be going down at computex, but in all likely not. We all want good stable and overclockable video cards. My advice don't rush out to buy one as soon as the first one comes out, cause it the chip itself could suck from the yield. Remember as this card matures so does the architecture and the drivers, so over time it is going to be a more stable and faster card. Back to the original subject, I hope to hell they get the cards out soon, cause I have alot of games to replay.

after reading about Gainward not shipping till after Computex, and Nvidia possibly upping the clock speeds, I am wondering if Nvidia had done a last minute respin on the 6800 core, bad since the x800 series is 2 yr old tech and its basically even playing feild between the 2 next gen cards, perhaps Nvidias trying to widen the gap between the x800 series and the 6800, but its just speculation at this point and no one knows.

its weird that theres not a single one to be found, and the big B&M stores are just now starting to show them on their web-sites(though still no availability though)

I have a CompUSA about 10 minutes away. When I go out to do some errands in a while, I'm going to stop over and ask them about that PNY card they have listed.

Its fun to see fanatics complaining how hard to find the 6800U in stores, not like they are going to buy ....
