in australia the cheapsest i sore a 6800U was $1499, americans and canadians get it so cheap over there....our dollar system is screwed

Those prices are actually very good, especially the Leadtek one.

In fact, i can't find a 6800U for > $1000AUD, so i don't know where you got that 1.4k from..
