Anyone know if these have the new CP (app profiles, etc.)?

Nope, still the old CP. Haven't tried these myself though, just what i've heard. :)

Okay, thanks for the info. I don't think I'll try them then since I basically want to wait until the new CP is released

I heard there are some changes to OpenGL in this.

Also that 'Overdrive' is added and there for the X800 pro and actually gives more than an 8mhz overclock ;)

I be downloading now.....

The overdrive should still give 8mhz for the card it was set up for. Should be different for the X800 Pro as it should actually have much more headroom on average.

It seems to be giving me 510Mhz instead of the stock 475MHz on my X800 Pro. (mag)

Is overdrive the tool that only lets you OC the core?
If so I would try to use something else personally.......
PS/RT
Wonder if that Bios tool lets ya set the clocks.... ;)

yeah, but the idea was that its temp controlled and keeps you in your warrenty. :)

I am not using it.

#1, It only o/c's the core.

#2 Using ATITool I can o/c to 570MHz/580MHz stable.

True, but it keeps you in warrenty and gives you extra performance....

Oh, I heard that its not a good idea to use ATI TOOL for overclocking btw, something about its memory overclocking not being reliable and leading to smouldering memory chips... just something i saw on rage3d.

Ruby or Nula?

I thought it was Nalu?

I use ATItool in small increments and then I back of a bit when the program finds what it thinks the max speeds are.

After 3 straight hours of Far Cry I think the settings are ok.

Hmm, i dunno i keep seeing it spelt differently.... i just choose one lol. Trust NVIDIA to pick some wierd name, dawn was so simple and easy so what do they do, pick a name like Nula or Nalu or whatever lol.

*EDIT* After searching google, i found the name referenced on nvzone as Nalu. So i will go with that me thinks ;)

Yeah, it's Nalu.

Nula somehow reminds me of Bula. And I don't associate the name Bula with a pretty looking mermaid. :retard:

PM me the download link to that nifty CP?

4.6's are great. UT2004 seemed to play smoother, but it always seems smooth.

More like the Q3 voice? :o

The new CP looks damn sweet though. My guess is we'll see it in CAT 4.8. :)

That CP should not be out right now (or leaked for that matter). As far as I am concerned that is a picture, but you will not find anywhere to download it (the new CP itself).
