Cannot play video after some time

Recently, when I watched video on my PC, it haulted after playing for several minutes. And then it could not play video except restarting windows. However, the situation happened again after restarting the windows. Does anyone know why there is such a problem? Thanks.

Your post is kind of vague. What are your hardware/software specs? Does this happens with all kinds of video types? What player are you using? What is your Direct-X version?

I have tried using different players, but as long as it is video file, the player haults after playing some time..............
