Last I read LCD's were not even close to CRT's for gaming! If this is still true I may go with the Canadians on this one! Please advise!

Just use a DVI adapter, The Geforce FX 5700 personal Cinema in my second rig only has a DVI out. And I just connect it with a DVI adapter. Most cards with a 6800 will likely ship the card with an adapter anyway

I have no problem with Dual DVI, my AIW 9800 pro only has a single DVI connector, which I use with a DVI->CRT connector, anything which doesn't affect the way I use the graphics card but can benefit others is good I would say ;)

LCDs are great for gaming. I am also sure that a dual DVI GeForce 6800 U/NU/GT with have DVI -> VGA adapters for connecting CRT monitors.
