hmmm...
Hmmm? Hmmm what? lol
Actually isnt NVIDIA supposed to have a new AA method with the NV40?? I can see a very noticable difference in those two shots, the NV pic looks a tad washed out and 'jaggy' where as the ATI pic looks a lot 'softer'. Maybe its just how they saved the pics?
*EDIT* Looks like you made a mistake and removed the post? for anyone thats wondering what im going on about JakUp posted thishttp://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=337146&postcount=7 in here... :)
incidentally, you have a 6800 Ultra, cool. Im jealious :o .
Yea I screwed up..hehe I originally didn't enable AA.. so I said screw it and made a new topic :D
I went through that thread though.. and there are some really nice looking SS. I wanna know how he got such good fps on that paticular scene in nature though.. mine crawls along at 20fps when the turtle looks up :lame:

Nice screens indeed :drooling: yours arent bad Jakup, I dont think hes getting 50fps like fraps says, at the bottom of that screenshot 3dmark03s
counter says 29fps, fraps really jumps around sometimes.
Oh yea I didnt even notice that.. 29fps sound about right :) Actually, the lowest I have seen my card go is 21fps on that scene!

He took that pic at the split second that the fps jumps from high 20s to high 70s, at least that's what it did on my X800 a few hours ago.....
The crowd demo is great. @ 6x AA and 16x AF it looks amazing and never drops below mid-20's fps, usually around 50ish.
I wish I could buy one of them new cards
but i am a hold out... for money and for an HDTV aiw card :D
