Holy crap, what a deal! If it werent for all those new cards looking so yummy, id snatch this up in a heart beat. I really want a 256Mb card as my next upgrade.

Just out of curiosity, what brand is this thing?

BTW, (not wanting to highjack the thread) Would it be reasonable for me to upgrade from my Ti4200? I mostly play FPS and I want to upgrade soon, yet I lack the cash and I SERIOUSLY need a new monitor.
This is one hell of a deal, and I can probably sell my Ti for a reasonable price where I live.

Get it, you'll end up paying for almost half of it when you sell your 4200ti and I'd say it's a tough deal to pass up....-+$100 for ATI's high end just two months ago. Run, don't walk!!!

Tuork:

Even a 9700 non-pro can be considered a worthwhile upgrade from a ti4200... So, yeah, you'll notice an improvement

Great... then I'll go for it if all goes well with Mr Selling-Person.

A new vid card was on my list of "to-get" for this summer... along with some other stuff which I'll be hazzling (sp) you people about in the near future.

Looks like a good deal, definitely a good upgrade over a Ti4200.

Now... if only Mr Selling-Person would answer my PM... that would be grand.
