The first pretty stupid thing i noticed is that you cant quit the game , the otpion to quit is disabled :screwy: ! they want you to get stuck on thier game as much as possible.

as for the game i find it nice , but not anywhere good as NFS:U IMO.
cool graphics & features like the Depth of Field . thought AA dosent work (from CP or App) & i already disabled the Motion Blur.
controls & handling are not bad , but at least this game give you the option the chose the daytime you want & the weather .

in the features list they say the game will include more than 50 US , Jap & European cars . that would be cool .

the game mysteriously crash to desktop for me if i played with 6 cars ? if 4 or less it run ok . anyone else getting this ?

Yeah. strange as hell that you cant quit the game.

But anyway this Demo blew me away and I will be getting the final game because of this. I liked this demo better than any racer I have played so far so this year including NFS:U. The race way is also huge which I like, the car design is realistic and most of all it is fast as hell. Awesome!

Given how similar this game is GT3 I don't think it's unfair to compare them.
Basically GT3 has better/more detailed graphics.
Can't say much about the overall gameplay as most things are locked away but I don't get the impression it has as much depth as GT3.
I also didn't like not being allowed to drive on the pavements (a plus on city circuits I think).

I hope the final game improves.

does this demo let you use a wheel?

There are no accessible options that I could see that would let you do it. But then again I don't have one try with.

Annoyingly I could not work out how get the car into reverse.

It was alright. Not being able to actually quit the game normally frustrated me. Ran great w/4x AA and 16x AF on 1280x960 on my setup. Not visually stunning like NFS:U was, but it's not bad.

Well the cars are fairly pretty but apart from that this game seems several years behind the times, not just the flat 2D crowd graphics but also the fact that although you're in a city environment you're stuck to a rigid track, I couldn't seem to drive on any pavements or find any shortcuts, alternate routes or anything to make the course interesting.

My gamepad didn't work and I saw no options to get it to work, and at the end of the race the game slowed to a stuttery crawl and I had to quit it using Task manager. Not impressed with this demo at all.

I have the same exact problem . i guess lowring the number of cars will help .

try 4 cars or less . 6 seems to cause the game crashing .

P.S.: whats your 3DMark2003 score ? :p
