299.99????? Is that right?

I was hoping to be the first to pre-order a 6800 Ultra but they're not taking pre-orders for that yet, it says coming soon. Rats.

299.99 for a 6800 GT? Wow guess i know what card i am moving to this year.Heck last year i paid 399.99 at best buy for my BFG FX 5900NU!

The 6800 GT is an amazing card and for that price it's almost main stream!

Lifetime warranty, outstanding performance, shader 3.0 for the future and great driver support all for 299.99!!!!

Things have certainly gotten better for the consumer since this time last year

Some people are gonna mess themselves when they see this. If only they had the Ultra available for pre-order at 100 off. If I regained conciousness in time I would have been first in line for shipping.

I was seriously considering a 6800NU in a couple months when I had plenty of money saved, but screw that, I have enough $$$ saved that this won't make me broke. I figure, what the hell, might as well put in an order. If the price ends up wrong, won't lose anything. If it's right, then god damn that's a good deal. Plus availability isn't expected until early July so I have time to cancel the order if I end up needing the cash.

Anyone think my implusiveness may be due to the fact that I've been awake for, um, let's see here, 33 hours? Oh well. We'll see how I feel about it later this week, heh.

I wonder why they're taking orders for the GT before the Ultra? I'm begining to really wonder about that card (The Ultra). I think they're having some serious yield problems, just wish someone would come clean about it.

Something's not right.

Our Price: $399.99
You Save: $100.00

Sale: $299.99

It's on Sale for $299, but it's suppose to be $399.99? I think someone messed up the typing. I hope not though.

Well it's supposed to be 399$ as 6800Nu's 299$. So either they messed up, or well they are crazy :D

Then why is Best Buy letting people pre-order the GT first at such a large discount? By this time tomorrow there gonna have well over 200 orders unless they pull it.

IF any of you bought this, I suggest you save that BestBuy page to disk. Just in case they try and charge you otherwise you will have proof :) Wow, what a deal!!!

Yeah, I gotta think someone messed something up. If you look in the fine print on the terms and conditions page, all e-tailers give themselves an out if such an event occurs.

Edit for those who don't want to look it up (From Best Buy Site):

Hi people, first time poster here from a land far away.
Anyhow, I'm amazed at the offer, in here (which is Finland) we have AOPEN's GTs for preorder and they cost around 453 Euros which is 543 dollars. I'd wish there would relatives of mine living there so I could purchase a card roughly twice as cheaper as from here. Sheesh.

If they do end up charging you a higher price than what they claimed originally, they cannot force you to pay it (if you have proof). ;) But I see what you are saying too, about the fine print. As long as the fine print's there, you can't force them to give you the card at that price.
