I am ordering a 6800ultra. What would be the best brand for overclocking? I see the BFG and eVGA are at the same price between the factory website and bestbuy/compusa. Has anyone found any MSI or Gainward cards available even for pre order?

BFG's cards are high quality, come overclocked which is very cool and BFG is the only company with a true lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support. eVGA is also very good but if you overclock them then you void your warranty IIRC. Gainward is also a great brand and their cards are historically good overclockers (especially their Golden Sample product line).

For me what ever I can get my grubby little hands on first. :)

BFG all the way. Lifetime warranty, 24-7 tech support. sexy looking cards. Can't go wrong with them. EVGA has a history of using bios's that don't match the reference cards at NVIDIA and has a record of problems because of that.
