Allright, all you photo-doctoring fiends, I need your assistance on creating a new avatar for myself because I suck at it. :p First, the pictures...

Now, here's the skinny...

1) Replace Kano's noggin with mine.

2) Crop the results so that only Subby is clearly visable plucking my gourd and pipe cleaner (cropping Subby from the waist up is fine).

3) Try to make it look as realistic as possible for the usual 80x80 pixel Avatar format (minor pixelation is ok, though).

Sound cool? ;) Danke!! :D

I'm just dying for a new yet warped Avatar and I'm really itching to get my hands on the new Mortal Kombat game coming out in a month. Plus, I could use a spinal transplant so why not hire the master himself? :p

Well I gave it a shot, but im affraid that at 80x80 pixels makes you look too small. I attach original size and two variants of the avatar, btw im no pro either :p

Let's face the truth. :D Sy doesn't have an amiga. So even if that is MK for Amiga, it is a rom. :D But I think it is SNES, because of the very round numbers, and the fact that the characters are very high in the screen, so that they apear bigger sprites than they are, well, it's a guess. :D

Smokey, yours is perfect! I could take the full pic, crop out what I don't need, and should be able to resize it to 80x80 without any problems.

Quite right! They were expensive little toys and never owned one. :(

Nope. Remember - the SNES version of MK wouldn't have that spine rip.
It had the old freeze and backhand shatter. :(

When you get down to it, there's only one version of MK that could give you such an arcade perfect snapshot like that and, when your PC is has an AthlonXP under the hood, it's the only version of MK that the maniacs should be playing - - MAME & the original arcade ROMs are your friend!! :p :D

Speaking of MK, I updated that "MK Deadly Alliance" thread in the GAMES forum last week. Midway posted some streaming movies of the various aspects of the game.

I also have some QuickTime movies of the actual game in action that IGN posted, too. And to get those from IGN, you have to pay...but it helps is you have friends in low places! *heh*

Judging from these movies....WOW!! Goodbye Tekken, Soul Calibre, Dead or Alive. You have been assimulated!! I will have my grubby mits on MK Deadly Alliance on Nov. 22 after seeing these movies!!
