So that means they are still going to make AGP versions of their new cards so thank god for that lol

Yes, Nvidia had stated(or leaked) that nv48 will be AGP

seems the only native AGP card coming in the future is the nv48... the other products seem to employ bridges...

anyone know japanese?

Nvidia's not going to drop AGP all together right away. They will most likely phase in pci-e along with having agp available for those that havent upgraded mobo's to pci-e. Id expect the nv48 as well as the next gen cards to still have an agp part. But as time goes on, the agp variants will slowly dry up. Give it about 2-3 yrs and there wont be agp cards anymore(My guess)

I know a little Japanese...but I'm still a first year student wrt this language. Just load it up in a translator.

Yes, I know, these translators on line could be a bit better, but it's readable, well mostly...

Edit: I think it has to be added manually. Just go here

and translate it...

I think both companies will lose money if they don't still offer AGP versions of at least their high end and mid range card well into next year. It's not like people are stumbling over each other to throw away their perfectly good PC to get a PCI Express system just to proclaim they have one when it won't offer any performance difference until next year or so.

Sure you can tell by look at the chart, NV48 is in column 3, that mean Q3 2004 and it will release in Sept 2004, that the end of Q3. ;)
