Please help me with video out! Anybody?

Hi

I have an Asus GeForce 3 V8200 Deluxe card featuring S-Video and Composite outputs.
But when the S-video is connected to my VCR I just get a black screen.
And now I bought an Archos DV recorder/player, if I connect the Composite from my PC to that then I just get vertical colour bars on the output screen. The bars are black and white if I use the S-Video connection.

Can anybody please tell me how I can record video from my PC?

Did you install the NVIDIA WDM driver (http://www.nvidia.com/object/wdm_winxp-2k-Me-98se_2.20)? Make sure you select the one that's VIVO and TV.
