Where we can discuss emulators, old classics, old PC games, How-To's on getting old games to play, glide wrappers, etc..
I find, while I'm waiting for the next great games, HL2, Doom3, Stalker, etc.., I'm back to playing old retro titles even more.
What does everyone think ?
I'm down with that. I'm more interesting in discussing UFO(XCOM), Moo2, and Fallout than FarCry of Halflife 2 any day.
There are some classic games that will always be fun to play, they deserve their own VIP room away from the crowded popular-new forum.

I would love a retrogaming/emulation forum here.. I spend as much time mucking around with old stuff as I do with my up to date gear :)
Fine by me, sometimes it's nice to talk about some of the classics out there. *goes back to playing Fallout*

Recently, I've got back into Westwood Studio's Bladerunner adventure, playing in XP as well, and it's just fantastic.
Then there's Sentinel Returns, an update of an already classic game.
Now I've managed to get both the Screamer games (S2 and Rally) working in XP, with sound, and in full glide mode. Both still play soo well, it's hard to believe they are now upto 8 years old.
Carmageddon, in glide, still plays soo well. And more importantly, it's just fun to play.
Outlaws, amoung Lucas Arts finest games, is such a great western fps. Again, it now works in glide via a wrapper.
Tombraider 1, in glide at 1280x960 4xAA 8xAF, looks and plays superb. Especially with the new hi-res texture packs.
Dethkarz, the PC's answer to Wipeout, plays incredible. Really great handling of the cars, and great weapon balance. Superb graphics, even today, especially with it's silky smooth 60 fps option (something I wish many racing games had today).
I'm heavily back into point n click adventures, especially using SCUMMVM. Games like The Dig, Sam n Max, Day of the Tentical, Beneath a Steel Sky, Full Throttle, Loom CD Talkie, Zak Mckraken FM Towns 256 Version.
Comeon mods, any chance ? Pretty please ;)

Speaking of ScummVM, does anyone know of a similar program for playing old sierra games? I know of Sarian, but have recently been spoiled by scummvm and don't feel like doing a lot of configuration...plus it doesn't seem to run everything quite yet. I know of DosBox, and may just stick with that if I have to. I was just hoping there was another alternative.
