I have an ATX case with two front mounted USB ports. I used to have an ABIT NF7-S and these front ports connected to the mobo as usual and I had USB 2.0 speeds, no problem.

Now, with my current system (see sig) and the same ATX case. Those two USB front mounted USB ports are connected to this new mobo as usual but I only get USB1.1 speeds. Any ideas?

Do you get usb 1.1 speeds on all the connectors, or just the front connectors? Some cases convientiently change speeds over to 1.1.. ive seen it before :(

but he said it was worknig with his ic-7

if thats the case it should not matter...

-edit-

how do you know its 1.1? is the device you are using 2.0 and not working fast enough or are oyu looking in the device manager?

if thats the case it should not matter...right, all worked just fine with my NF7-S (not IC7)

I belive so, yes, I've even removed all USB devices and reinstalled the latest 4in1s. And yes, I get the warning from XP that my "hi speed usb device" is connected to a no hi speed hub.
