I have a tyan trinity kt s2390 mobo.
A gforce 2 mx400 agp
256megs of pc133
I just installed win xp from win me.
A FRESH INSTALL!
did the latest updates and wcpuid conferms that agp is not being used on the board for graphics settings
It says it is disabled.
I installed riva tunner and it shows it running as pci, instead of 1x,2x,4x
its greyed out and I cant set it.
On me it worked sweet.
my bios is set to 4X
Please help me!

Im using the 56.72 dets but am dloading older 29.42 drivers to try
I even put the retro via drivers on with no go.
I EVEN INSTALLED ANOTHER GF2MX CARD and it shows the same.
I would say its between windows and the board.
Is ther a way to force it to 4X in windows?

Make sure that in bios that the AGP is primary and not PCI. Next, reinstall in this order AGP drivers, DX, and Vcard drivers.
