mentioned in this thread:
http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13644

Now let's do a few tests about it:
I downclocked my 6800U to 335/800(assume this is the clock of 6800NU?), using D3D rightmark from: http://3d.rightmark.org/downloads/D3DRightMark1050.exe

The results are:

The batch I used can be found here:
http://bbs.gzeasy.com/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=3194236

under the same clock, I scored 26.9FPS in 3dmark03's vertex shader test.

Now can someone having a 6800NU repeat my test? I know Chris has one.

I am sure he will oblige u with a bench run. ;)

There is a lot of confusion as to many VS units there is in the Non ultras, some say 5, some 6...

999160. The 6800NU is clocked @ 325 mhz.

Also that batch file isnt loading anything for me.

If that's true, that is surprising to say the least...

Oops, how about the memory?

if the batch doesn't work, you can just select them manually. Choose "geometry processing speed", then choose hight/medium and low geometry profile. Lightling profile is D+S(3 point lights). Shader profile: vs2.0 HLSL no flow control.

What resolution, Full screen or 640x480?

I would have done it myself ( i always keep rightmark installed) But I wasnt sure the resolution used.

6800NU are clocked @ 325/700

Mine however is clocked @ 325/850

Is there a new rightmark3d? Mine doesnt have "Flow Control" option

Not realy None ultra got pipes or quad cut off , safe to assume it could be missing one vertex engine , its not suppose to be high-end card after all, not a big deal

Actually I think I know the prob.

My rightmark is old

I used beta4, it runs in windowed mode, I think it's 640*480, didn't change anything regarding the resolution.

Can you make your card run at 335/800?

looks like it's true.

Implications? If any?

lower vertex/vertices throughput

Let's use the high geometry profile number(I found it's the most accurate: scaling with clock change, etc).
Chris has 30.19
I have 35.69
The ratio is 35.60/30.19 = 1.18, very close the ideal number 6/5 = 1.2
Now it's very safe to say that 6800NU has only 5 vertex shading units.

Slower Vertex shading?

Its still got 1 more than an r300 card, and 2 more than a FX 5900 card.
