I believe a shower everyday is overkill on the skin.
Besides, they really don't get you all that clean.

I shower every other day. For the days in between, all a person needs to do is follow the A.B.C.T. regiment - Armpits, Bunghole, Crotch, and Teeth. Y'know...the 4 MAJOR areas!! :p And, if you can manage to take 1 hour out of the entire weekend for an actual bath, you're all set.

Like Sy said, a shower a day is overkill, and it dries out your skin something fierce...every other day is fine, and if you are doing nothing (like lounging around the house all weekend), you can take one the next day...

Being the stinky, oily Italian I am, showering daily is a requierment. If I don't, my hair looks like a quart of Castrol was poured over it, and my face looks like it got clear-coated. Besides, I have to shave daily anyways, why not add 5 more minutes to my morning routine to get myself fresh and ready for the day?

Ohh, and one other thing...my girlfriend appreciates it :D

Do you shower after a party? Even though you showered before it. If I get wasted that's the best thing to do, plus I feel much better after it. IF I'm so wasted that I'm not able to stand....the hell with it, bed is waiting. :p

I depend on the scalding hot water of the shower to wake me up each morning....If I somehow managed to make it to work without one, I would remain in a comatose state throughout the day and would be even more useless than I am now... :p

As for the "shower after party" question...I am typically in no condition to stand up for any long period of time after parties...Moderation certainly isnt one of my strongpoints...

Every time I am at a party, I end up declaring war on my liver...

The last time I heard that taking bath makes bad for the skin was when I talked to my geography high school teacher, and he told me that people from europe (except portugal and spain) and US european descendents sometimes say this. i play sports and workout everyday..so i really have no choice but to take a shower. i don't think i have anything wrong with my skin..unless your not using soap with moisturizer. i guess just regular old tap water shower could mess up ur skin.

A big part of that depends on the quality of the water being used....If you have "hard" water and you shower all the time, your skin will be dryer than a popcorn fart...
