Does nV News have a Folding@Home team? Any Folders here that want to get together and start a team? I'm in the [H]ardOCP team now, but if there is an nV News team or the oppurtunity to start one, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat!

"What are proteins and why do they "fold"? Proteins are biology's workhorses -- its "nanomachines." Before proteins can carry out their biochemical function, they remarkably assemble themselves, or "fold." The process of protein folding, while critical and fundamental to virtually all of biology, remains a mystery. Moreover, perhaps not surprisingly, when proteins do not fold correctly (i.e. "misfold"), there can be serious effects, including many well known diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, and Parkinson's disease."

It's distributed computing with a beneficial purpose.

Is there a NVIDIA F@H team?
SETI seems useless to me so I'm folding for Rage3D

I've always been weary of the commercial nature of United Devices. I feel much more comfortable donating my time to a University project like Folding@Home. Besides, does the UD client have a console-only program? I hate that stupid screen saver junk
