In years (4+) it only happened twice... but that's twice too many.
It should be noted that I only have a Hardware Firewall as protection, nothing else, and I'm always logged as Admin. (come and get me, have fun with my winXP install, I'm on Linux now.)

For one reason or another I believe its the flash stuff that messes up Firefox..

Uhh... flash stuff works fine in firefox.

I feel, generally, Firefox is a bit more sluggish and bloated than IE..

Firefox is faster and less bloated. It uses fewer system resources than IE.

All you people still using IE might want to take a look at THIS (http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/713878). Also, I get no spyware what so ever since switching to Firefox. That should tell you which is safer.

Doesn't have to turn into a remake of an 'Ati vs Nv' war though...

i use netscape 7.2 rather than firefox and stuff because i cant be bothered to download all features i want to have like tabbed browsing....netscape has everything there already although it uses a lot of system resources.
