why did they have to lose Steve Nash? he wasnt my favorite mav (its all about Dirk), but they needed him to entice the lakers to gfive up shaq!

They're not going to be able to do it now. At least the Suns can't get Kobe or anyone else, since Nash will put them too close to their cap.

Dirk is gonna end up like tracy mcgrady... a great player with no supporting cast
I like Dallas (not my fav) but I don't think they would ever make the finals with their team of last year. As far as Nash, he seemed a little too out of control for my tastes. Getting rid of Jamison seems like a bigger mistake to me.

i totally agree. the starting lineup needs to be.. 1:marquis daniels, 2:josh howard, 3:antwane jamison, 4: Dirk, 5: It doesnt matter cause the rest of the team rocks!!
anmd they need antione walker back opn the bus to high school ball.. he blows
Didn't they trade Jamison to the Wizards though? What's up with Walker anyway? Will he be back?
dirk is a one dimensional player... as great as he is wrt what he can do on the offensive end for a big man he is not a GREAT player till he actual can hold down his end of the bargain @ the other end...
losing nash will hurt their run and gun offense it would seem though with daniels and howard they have the personnel to build around a slower-tempo'd half-court set...
I dunno how shaq woulda fit in the big D... I dunno if shaq will stay with the lakers or not... whatever happens next season (unless kobe goes to jail) the lakers will be KOBE's team ie built around kobe and hence playing to his talents rather than shaq's abilities...
if donnie's around next season he's got some work to do wrt a propah point guard...
