I don't know if anyone caught John Clayton's top 10 picks for this year's NFL season. My Giants weren't included in that list, but I'd have to believe they'd be ranked somewhere in between the 12-17 range. How do you ike your favorite team's chances this season?

I bet $50 that the 'Skins would win the Superbowl. Amazingly, they're only 10-1 odds now. A week earlier on the bet and it would have been 28-1. Anyway, I'd settle for just winning the NFC East. :) I'm hoping that Gibbs can rekindle the magic but we'll see...

Edit: Oh, I think the Eagles, unfortunately, will win the NFC East again. They've gotten some pretty good players during the offseason but I'm hoping adding star-like players will mess up their chemistry. ;)

go jets, as long as they don't lose pennington to injury again, they might do decent this season

I Think that the Niners are out of it this year. Having to start the season with a greenleaf at QB, an unknown as of yet backfield and still having a porus secondary. I would be surprised to see the 7 wins from last year.

I am however anxious to see how the Browns will fare this year having Garcia at QB and a strong D with a good young offence around him. They may battle for the division or even the conference if all goes well. The nucleus was there last year and I think the needed pieces were added.

I really think that as a whole the entire league is a toss up this year. No team really stands out as a pick me team. Teams that were good last year could finish up missing out of the playoffs this year (Cowboys) and many that came close could be the ones vying for the Superbowl come February.

Seconded, although when im state side (which i have been 5 times since 2000) i follow both basketball and nfl pretty close. So i guess im a potential fan, just dont have a team yet (although i DO feel bad for the knicks since NYC is the place i wanna live)

In the 21 years I've lived in Philly, I've never seen ANY major sports championship. The Eagles will change that this year.

I bet that's what you were saying for the past three years too. ;)

Go Giants.

My fav. team is the Colts. They made it pretty far last year. Only thing holding them back are the 25 interceptions a year Manning averages throwing. =/ And of course, I also have to like my home team the bears....no matter how horrible they are.

Colts all the way. Manning's interceptions aren't all on him (or any quarterback that throws them)...there's a receiver running a timed route in many cases and with the AFC Championship game's blatant holding by NE we now see the NFL is going to reinforce holding past 5yds this year after having reviewed that game tape.

Anyway... GO COLTS!!!!!

yea..youre right...it's not all on him...but sometimes it's like dude...you just threw a mike tomzak-esque pass....that was no where near the receiver. He seems to always need to throw the ball to someone-even when pressured, and I appreciate the effort...but it never works well for him. He's still a good QB. =) And with Dungy...well, I think it's safe to say they'll make playoffs again. =)

Yeah he does force it at times, I'll give you that. He's really cut back on that bull-headedness to "make the play" though IMO.

NFC - I honestly think my Saints have a chance to go somewhere. Now that they have beefed up their defence, all the offence has to do is find some consistency and we'll be hard to stop.

AFC - Well my favorite team has always been the Patriots... we'll just leave it at that.
