Im looking for a powerful, quite (under 30db), and cheap (around $25) HSF for my overclocked Barton (see sig). Just about anything would be an upgrade over my all aluminum 40db monster. What would you guys recommend?

Kingwin w/70mm, all copper, great finish.. you can find em @ newegg for $15.99 or so... they handle desktop bartons @ 2.2-2.3ghz, and mobile bartons @ 2.4-2.5ghz...

Thermalright SLK 900-A with a papst 92mm 19 dezible fan.
Dunno how much it is in the US but maybe a bit too expensive?
It runs my barton AQZEA @ 2.4ghz and i get 50 degrees at prime95 torture test.

Thanks for the feadback. The kingwin cooler is solid copper which is a great deal for $16 shipped. It's 32db but I can live with that.

I have this Thermaltake Silent Boost. Pretty good IMO. Was gonna get an SLK-900 but everywhere was out of stock at the time.

Rated as 21dB, can handle upto Athlon 3400's.

Agreed! I've installed the Silent Boost HSF for a couple people, it's excellent.
