I have a 2.4 P4 with a gig of ram. I'm not big on overclocking and I am trying to decide between a bfg 6800gtoc or a evga 6800gt. Is the 20MHz advantage really going to be noticeable with my system? Thanks.

No, its not really ganna give you that much. Plus the EVGA will overclock those 20 perfectly fine. Add to that the EVGA GT is available at their site, EVGA begins to sound like the better deal. The 20 extra Mhz is just a marketing ploy

#1 you dont post your system specs

#2. %99 of all the cards out there are the same right now, they're all reference design 6800's. The only difference with the BFG is that its a lifetime warranty with a 20mhz oc. Any 6800gt you will get will easily clock the 20mhz that the BFG does. And it seems all 6800gt's oc to ultra speeds.

Personally if you want your card right now, id go with evga. It took them 2 days to get the card to my house from the day i ordered it. Plus it comes with the full version of far cry!.

I'm another fan of the eVGA 6800GT. Overclocks to Ultra speeds with no problem, and eVGA will ship it out same day. I ordered it with overnight, and it came the day after I ordered it. If you go with eVGA, you won't be dissapointed.
